The Double Room with Garden View was spacious and comfortable, with heavy covers. Loved the ability to open the windows for fresh air and fine views across the fields.
Getting to the place was a bit of an adventure with those winding, narrow roads, made it challenging to navigate in our big car. Not ideal when you're ready to kick back and relax after a long journey.

The rooms are impeccably clean here with a friendly atmosphere. The location is great, as the hotel is based to a bus stop.

The hotel's location was remote, to a bus stop. Moreover, it was not too far away from a 1149ft-high tapered tripod tower.

The winding roads were tricky, but the room view was fine.

The venue is stunningly beautiful, it offers absolutely superb breakfast and has peaceful location just next door to Ambleside where there are loads of restaurants and pubs, Elter Water directly from the farm via Skelwith bridge which was a really nice walk, and a bus stop.
Everything great.

It was in a remote location, to the Lake District.

What a disappointment! The winding roads to this farm were a nightmare, and the flooded entry was unacceptable. I also expected to be treated like royalty but was met with stairs that were manageable, if you can believe that. I thought i woudl ve received a complimentary gift for all the trouble, but guess i was wrong.

Couples seeking seclusion
Judith were really nice by preparing a special vegetarian sausage just for us at breakfast! The views from our room were amazing.
It wasn't exactly economical, but for what we got, I'd say it was fair.

Lovely getaway with great views
Really enjoyed the stay! The garden swing was a hit with the kids, and those views were just beautiful. We had a great time exploring the picnic area too. Don't forget to book nearby restaurants in advance, though. It gets busy. The roads getting there are a bit tricky, especially if you're not used to winding turns.

I had an amazing stay here! The breakfast was fantastic, especially the homemade sausages, and the view from the room was amazing. We did face a bit of trouble with the winding roads to get here, but it was well worth it!

Couples looking for a cozy getaway
The breakfast was good, especially the homemade sausages, they were fantastic. Judith went the extra mile by drying our wet walking boots. It was just the right touch after a long day out in the rain.
It wasn't inexpensive but worth it.
